Life's reason revealed

Scientists, researchers and philosophers have not yet found the universal answer to the purpose of mankind. I have to admit, they all differ in their views. Looks like there is no panacea round the corner. Let me tell you brother, you will in no way rest till you know what on earth you are supposed to do. Fulfilling life's aims and abmitions is a long and attainable process but the irony is when you have reached the top, there is no where to go. We feel like the whole world has stopped and fallen apart. Then we set our next goal and keep revolving in the high and low tide of life keeping our wheel spinning. Consider mankind from his creation till today, the eternal quest for knowledge and the purpose of life has never ceased. History repeats itself, the same old mistakes and the same old answers.

Where is man headed ? The power of the internet is astounding evident to the fact that you are reading this. The magic of cloning. The wonder drug which can heal every ailment. The time machine and the luxury of life all are coming into our laps soon. The future of mankind ?? Are we satisfied ?? Well no one knows.

It's sad to see how people look up to the wrong personalities for the explanation of life. John lennon spent his entire life trying to find out the truth. Stuck on moeny and the rock on roll fame took him futher deep into life's quest opening the road to drugs. Tranquilizers taking him to psuedo trips and then down the road. He though love was what was right, but it only took him to the wrong desires. Under the effect of such strong deppressants, life was an imagination. Some great personalities, on the other hand, didn't need such drugs as their minds were well occupied with imaginations inherent. Albert Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world".

Today's reasearchers are lifted by their ego to renounce all previous work and claim entire theories. The fact they don't want to admit is that their contribution is only a step ahead of what the previous scientist did. I am a computer science researcher, considerably a successful person with a couple of inventions in leading companies. I spent a whole deal learning the state of art and a small deal inventing on top of it. It is the efforts of many that is how the world has come to this stage.

My dear friend and brother let no one fool you on what your purpose in life is. You must know it now before it's too late. You must seek it with all your heart. God want's you to know that you are special in his eyes. He has the living words of truth. He loves one and all irrespective of creed, religion, color, or abilities.

"God makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust" - Matt 5:45
Mankind is sinful, there is no one perfect.
"There is none righteous in the sight of God, no not one" - Rom 3:10

It's time to stop sinning and turn on a new leaf. I was blinded by sin but today I'm a new person. I'm not saying I'm perfect. I like others fall into sin even today but the difference is I don't like it anymore. I hate it and my thoughts have changed. It's a gradual change to victory. Yes, victory because Christ died on the cross and paid the ransom for me. I can say no to satan now and the powers of the evil one no longer have any dominion on me.

Seek the truth and purpose from God alone. Just accept the gift of the Lord Jesus Christ, that is his blood that was shed on the cross. Once you do this, God sees you as pure in his sight. He prepares a place for you in heaven.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life" - John 3:16

Believe in him by faith and claim victory over all sin. God can change you into a powerful individual in a special way. He will use you greatly in this life. Seek your purpose from him. He made us and hence is the author of our life.
Don't believe in him for physical gain or for wonders and miracles, these he will do according to his plan for you, but believe him because he first loved you. He wants you to surrender to him.
If you believe Jesus Christ has died for you and that you are going to heaven you are blessed and the strength of the holy spirit will help you in your journey. Do share your joy with me.

okay okay. I understand that your are faithful to your lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Have you ever opened any other book besides the bible though. I have read from front to back the bible and other theories of what/how/who/when we were all created and put here on this planet. Let me put it to you this way. People are animals, mammals to be precise. There is a certain complexity to us yes. But the bible was written by man.....MAAANNNNNNN! not God, not Jesus, but by man. it is nott supposed to be taken literally, but used as a guide to live you life by. The reason people are here are to breed and consume just like any other mammal, the only difference is that we have that factor of X. The thing that give us rational thought. Please be human and excersise that ration of thought before you get to deep into something that someone is dictating to you. Use your X factor and research before you dictate to other people. please for everyones sake.

this is meant to show you the way people should live. Accepting to others no matter what race creeed or anything to be exact, and to gain as much knowledge as we can handle before we pass on into the spirit world, because there is no one waiting on the other side. this is for your own salvation trust me. is you don't agree that is fine. I respect that, but at least I tried to educate.

There is nothing wrong with faith as long as its directed in a positive manner.

- I will keep you in my thoughts.
Take care and all things good for you and your family.

To anonymous, the one who stresses the bible was written by MAAANNNNNNN! First, thanks for the smile! Second, lighten up. Mr. Noel was merely expressing his belief.

Three things for you to consider, using your X factor, of course:

A) You are half right…man wrote the bible, but only as inspired by God; hence the phrase, “God’s word.” Jesus quotes the bible and that’s a pretty good endorsement. Most people I talk to who claim to have read the bible completely crumble under cross examination. I recommend studying the bible next time. It’s the world’s best seller. See what’s in there!

B) For you to imply Mr. Noel is stupid and you are smart is just poor debate skills. You didn’t outright say he is stupid, but you accuse him of not using his X factor, not being human and not exercising rational thought. We don’t know his intelligence level (or yours or mine), so don’t go there. One could easily accuse you of not using your X factor, and again, it gets us nowhere. I, a former college professor in engineering, know countless Christians (both genius and morons) and Atheists (both genius and morons). Belief in a higher being is not an intellectual decision – it requires faith. Being an Atheist also is a faith-based decision. One can’t prove God doesn’t exist, just like one can’t prove He does.

And finally C) Over time, a lot of bad has been done in the name of God, using the bible as justification. I can only say that I am as frustrated and angry as you are over that. But don’t use that to reject God. Imperfect mankind trying to be perfect…just doesn’t work. Since you read the bible, you know the two main things: Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself. If we all did that, the world would be a much better place.

I am not anonymous. I’m Rick Fournier, Cleveland, Ohio. rickwahoo@yahoo.com.

Hey Timothy, I read the article about Men cheating and was very heartened to see your comment. It was accurate and wise. Claiming genetics is a nice excuse that allows men to skip out on any blame.
But I completely agreed with you, we are called to be faithful and if a man and woman truly love one another it becomes much more than lust.

As to the comments on here about faith and science and what not, I have noticed that a lot of Atheists like to get on Christian sites and call people stupid, irrational, intellectually weak, etc. Ironically, this really couldn't be further from the truth given the great wealth of theological and religious literature and scholarship from the very beginning of Christianity. As St. Augustine wrote, and I paraphrase, "No one believes anything that was not first thought to be believable." Claiming faith to be "intellectually lazy" ignores and denies the great works of all religious traditions in addition to the very genesis of western thought in Medieval Christian universities. Perhaps they are the ones with intellectual laziness..

Also, there is rarely such anatagonism or disrespect for others in Christian blogs and comments, which to me, at least, is a pretty big indicator of the value the tradition has in its role in people's lives.

Anonymous, your comment, "faith is intellectual laziness" is like a 5 year old saying, "You're stupid." The other 5 year old responds with, "No I'm not. You're stupid." And so on. You are not helping yourself arguing like that.

You'll love this: Atheism requires as much faith as theism. You stated you believe "no one" is on the other side. You can't prove that...it takes faith to believe there is no God. Which means you have faith in something. Belief in something unknown is faith. Are you guilty of intellectual laziness? I don't think so. You use your X factor quite well. But your comment, "faith is intellectual laziness" is unfounded and illogical. You use faith every day, and so do I.

You have my email address. You can write me, if you choose. Peace out.

Rick ;-)

p.s. and thanks victor.

Hi Anonymous,

You said the following "Accepting to others no matter what race creeed or anything to be exact, and to gain as much knowledge as we can handle before we pass on into the spirit world".

Seems like you do have belief in a spirit world. Can you elaborate on what that is?

Rick is right, we need faith at every step in our life. Even a researcher or inventor relies on faith to do his work.
